Fulbright Award 2017

Dr. Mamta Bhatia received Fulbright Nehru award for 2017-2018 under the category "Academic and Professional Excellence". Her Fulbright project is about employment opportunities for STEM students and she was engaged with skill based course development for Material Science and Nanomaterials manufacturing industry. Dr. Bhatia has another Fulbright award to her credit, received in 2014 for International Education Administrator's seminar, whereby she had visited several community colleges in the United States and had the opportunity to learn about successful models of higher education framework.

  • Teaching Excellence Award 2014

Mr. Dinesh Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of English receiving the Teaching Excellence Award 2014 from the Vice-Chancellor, University of Delhi.

  • Raman Fellowship for Post Doctoral Research for Indian Scholars in the United States (2014-15)

Dr. Vikrant Kumar, Assistant Professor, Department of Chemistry has been selected by the UGC for the Raman Fellowship for Post Doctoral Research for Indian Scholars in the United States (2014-15).  He will be working on 'Catalysts for Water Oxidation: Hope for Sustainable Energy Source' at the San Diego State University, California, USA.

  • Dronacharya Award to Dr Satyapal Singh

Dr. Satyapal Singh (Born January, 1978) has been associated as coach with Para Sports (Athletics) since 2004. His trainees have won Gold, Silver and Bronze Medals in Asian Para Games, 2010, 4th IBSA World Championships, 2011, IWAS Senior World Games, 2009, Asian All Star Athletics Championship, 2008.

At the National level also, his trainees have performed extraordinarily well, his trainees won 14 Gold, 6 Silver and 3 Bronze medals in 5th Para National Games, 2010 and 22 Gold, 3 Silver and 3 Bronze medals in National Para-Athletics Championships, 2012.

In recognition of his outstanding achievements in the field of coaching, the Dronacharya Award for the year 2012 is being conferred upon Dr. Satyapal Singh.
